Carpet-making in Avanos

Turkey Day 3

This day was to be panoramic day. We woke to thick mist! Our first view of the rock formations for which Cappococia is famous was atmospheric in the extreme.

Our guide jiggled to itinerary and took us to a carpet workshop which was warm and bright. Later we visited some of the panoramic sights. Wonderful to see but the colours were still muted.
