Rushing around today - it's the Ladies' Book Club and it's here. Cakes have been purchased, the house tidied, the wine chilled. We should be discussing The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey - a book I recommended - set in 1920s Alaska and about a couple coming to terms with the loss of their child. I think Himself is going out to do a spot of night photography weather permitting!

Last night's film Love is All You Need wasn't much better than we suspected it would be. A Danish romcom starring Pierce Brosnan and set in Italy. Oddly most people were speaking Danish except for Mr Brosnan who wasn't. Sorrento looked pretty gorgeous though.

We nipped out for a breath of air in between showers - the beach was full of leaves.
