Cruciform selfie...

Snapped the image that I see each Sunday I celebrate the Eucharist/communion/Lord's Supper/etc. in St Paul's Rothesay. The altar is against the back wall of the church, and you face it during the Eucharistic prayer. The cross is polished brass, in which you see your own face. Humanity, reflected back from a cross, on which a human died 2000 years ago. Blipfoto is probably not the place for a detailed theological treatise, but suffice to say I find seeing myself reflected back in the cross as I say those words is utterly moving and part of the privilege of being a priest...
