On a mission
The primula are hanging on after a couple of heavy frosts and the hydrangea still has some pink colour. The gorgeous big daisies are all flopped and rotting so the alabaster replica adds a little brightness. With the passing of the borders the wildlife is starting to feel more exposed to garden predators.
The mad birds were scuttling around the garden this morning until a farm cat appeared and they scurried to the iron gate and hopped though it into the thick hedge. The cat took no notice and decided to mark its territory under a conifer. That's when i discovered that whilst my throwing distance isn't as good as it used to be, my aim is still pretty good. Here kitty, kitty.....
