Definition: a store where medicinal drugs are prepared and sold.

This book is a collection of prescriptions for above mentioned medicinal drugs, some prescriptions dating from the early 20th century. Most pharmacists no longer prepare drugs, they dispense them, only certified compounding pharmacists can prepare customized medication by altering, mixing or combining ingredients.
