11.11.11....I was driving to see my daughter and granddaughter .
I drove in silence.
My thoughts were with all the men and women who serve and with those that have served, who gave their lives and those who are prepared to risk their lives in order that I may do just this .

In this very precious moment my eyes were overflowing.

I am thankful that my Dad was the son that had to stay on the farm and work the land.
I am thankful that my Mum was the land army girl who came from Hull to Painsthorpe.
I am thankful that the two fell in love.

She will only ever hear stories of these people.
I will be forever grateful for their love.

Sometimes love is an inadequate word.

The best bit of today is that Grumps and I are invited to a sleepover !!!
