Our wedding anniversary break today, at a very impressive hotel in North Berwick. First an afternoon stroll on the beach: actually, my wife powerwalked her way into town, while I stayed rooted to the one spot playing with long exposure landscape shots. Then back to the hotel for neck massages and a little jog on the running machine. I also had a couple of interesting chats, first with my masseuse who was also doing a philosophy degree from the OU; then with a golf coach who did nothing to dispel my paranoia that my disinterest in that sport is tantamount to career suicide.
