Winter Training

Chris left early for America :(

Al went over to my brothers to stay the night - and no doubt play computer games and watch DVDs for 24 hours.

Betsy & I picked Ellie up and we drove to MK. Saw a big pile up on the M1, only about 40 cars ahead of us. About seven cars, two or three of them totally mashed up. As we passed I saw they were all empty, there was lots of people on the hard shoulder, so I don't think anyone was seriously hurt.

They trained for three hours and I did a bit of shopping and went to Costa with my laptop and some work.

Bad traffic on the way home, rugby in Twickenham.

Betsy and I had a movie night planned; we watched Rainman and The Descendants. Betsy loved them both.

Chris emailed at 10.30 to say he'd just landed.
