Autumn at Ashurst

Thanks to everyone who commented yesterday - I was so pooped when I got home from the day I never managed to comment back until a few minutes ago - which was when I returned from a second long trip, this time seeing my daughter in Southampton, choosing knitting wool with her, lunching and generally having a good time.

On the way home I took a bit of a detour via Ashurst in the New Forest. The light was beautiful and looked stronger in colour, but mono seems to bring out a lovely soft range of tones. And I liked the little gingerbread house in the distance. So here I am back in my comfort zone (which I certainly wasn't in yesterday!)
