Poppy

I needed to take it off my jacket and put it on my golf shirt ready for next Wednesday. I realise Remembrance Sunday is tomorrow, but we always have a Poppy Day Tournament at the golf club to raise funds for the RBL, this year it is on Wednesday 13th.

The reason for Wednesday rather than Monday is that most of our members play on a Wednesday, so we can raise more money. The comp fee is donated, plus we have a raffle, which usually raises a couple of hundred euros.

I have the banner ready, my camera battery is charged and I must remember to put the memory card back in.

Let's hope we can raise a goodly amount.
