Palm Patterns

A long day on the computer today, so I was forced to find something of interest around our complex to blip. My wife had suggested how prominent the rings on the small palm trees were now that our yard guy has cut off the dead fronds. She was right, as she often is, especially when lit with the warm morning light reflected by the orange and rust walls of our buildings. This was also pretty good in black and white (as pattern type photos often are), but that conversion lost the rich warmth of this photo - which is what attracted me initially.
