The Eagle has Landed

The Americans are here! I saw one of them carrying a hand gun - I hope it wasn't loaded!

We also saw a Royal NZ Air Force Hercules air craft come in, and unload a truck.

There are goodness knows how many personnel here from all over New Zealand, and the world. We saw some soldiers having a cook up on the side of the road, as we came into the airport, and there's a bunch of them camping in tents just outside of Timaru.
