The War Horse

A book I read a few years ago, I then saw the film and have today seen the theatre production of this wonderful, touching story of a boy/mans love for his pet taking you through many years of both their lives. A touching time to see this production as we remember those who lost lives for us to lead a better life.

I brought 16 books by the author Micheal Morpurgo although I haven't read them all yet his writing appeals to me, he is best known as a children's author but many of his books seem more suited to older readers, one of my favourites is called Private Peaceful and I believe this is now also a film.
