Kelpies

Yet another statue by Andy Scott in my rapidly expanding series of shots of these public art sculptures (see also 4 Sept 2009 and 7 Sept 2009).

This statue isn't in Clackmannanshire but is on the canal at Falkirk.

I can already sense I'm going back to these statues to rephotograph them a few times to try and get them just right. In particular I need to retake this in RAW so I can do a better job with the sky contrast/masking.

These statues are actually just small scale 'mock ups' of what are eventually intended to be 100 foot high statues.
