Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Lots of running around - though not by me...

Haven’t done much today - too much sport to watch on the new humungous TV - brilliant.

I did put out a washing line and hang some out, which was quite fun - haven’t done that for years. The novelty could wear off though… Especially when it rained and I had to take it all in.

Got a load of firewood delivered, which should see us through the winter.

Did what I was always jealous of other blippers being able to do - popped out into the garden for today’s blip! Enjoyed that too. There was a black cat sitting in a wee patch of sun, and made no move to scarper when I went out. Just wait till the puppy comes, puss!

The coffee table’s fate is still in limbo. It’s not too big, it’s too high. Nothing that a vigorous use of a saw can’t fix. JR is not too keen on me doing it, as I did the last coffee table we had for 30 years, and the legs weren’t quite level - maybe a chainsaw wasn’t the best implement…

Just off to watch the next rugby match, with tennis in between - great day for being inside with the wee fire on.
