Black Dog
Being a Saturday, many people were out enjoying the glorious November sunshine on a calm day on the banks of the Tay. I took lots of photos of the walkers, the woodland, the larches at Dunkeld Cathedral, and General Wade's Bridge at Dunkeld.
However, this contre-jour shot of the black dog on the bank caught my imagination. I loved the backlit beech leaves, the autumn reflections of the trees on the opposite bank in the calm water, and this pet in its element. It looks not unlike its ancient wolf fore-bearers roaming its territory. I was on the high path at this point which gave me a great perspective looking down on the sunlit south bank.
