Catching up

Everything's suddenly bleak. Not only have the clocks changed and it gets dark way too early, but Mayor Ford has fallen afoul of the whole world. The TV is wall to wall and .... it's been getting rather sad as the week wears on.

But now it's Friday and I'm blipping my Starbucks Lemon Cake! (from Tuesday). It's all lemony and oily and soggy with icing!

It was getting late, so I poured the overly creamed icing onto the hot cakes. I just had to get to bed at the time. It was a bit disasterous, as you can see. The icing pooled. So I went to bed.

Next morning the pool of icing had disappeared. I was alarmed! Til I realized the icing had been soaked up by the cakes.
