Thanksgiving Turkey-Thankful for Friends

I got together with my friend Carol today and she was showing me her latest treasures and her gardens and I noticed her very crafty Thanksgiving turkey made of found objects. I love her creations and this turkey is awesome. The turkey reminds me of Thanksgiving, and while the holiday from pilgrims times is now getting a bad rap-the thanksgiving of the Pilgrims for killing the Indians is awful-the Thanksgiving of being thankful is still appropriate. So I am most grateful for friends and the joy in being with them, sharing, connecting and having fun! Yeah for friends! I am thankful!
