Sparkly

Very thick fog this morning - visibility down to about 10 metres, if that. After a slow crawl to and from school (not everyone here believes in using lights on foggy days) I had a few minutes in the garden looking at all the soggy plants, and soggy spiders webs.

Unlike yesterday, the fog only really disappeared when it was rained away this afternoon. A dismal evening - and definitely not one to remember I had a forgotten a critical thing for Mr B at the supermarket (beer).

In other news, my career as a teacher of English here got off to a slow start when my first two pupils failed to turn up. Next week perhaps.
