Absolute Luxury

Think I've mentioned in a recent blip that there is a Motor show on. Today was the day of a Grand Parade of Classic and Luxury cars. We caught some at the end of the Parade where they all converged in the Burj Khalifa area. G has a picture of a classic car. Alongside the car were of course motorbikes, and this Harley really caught my eye - more because of the stereo than anything else; I mean, a CD player on a bike??!! That's AMAZING. It has speakers too.

Went into Dubai Mall later as I promised G a cup of coffee. We found a grand new place called Eataly - an Italian store which "cooks what they sell and sell what they cook!" We checked the whole place out, bought a very rustic looking loaf of (cheese) bread, had our coffees and then came home to enjoy bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar and red wine. A fabulously relaxed day and another remarkably clear evening. If only they were more the norm.

Unfortunately, Gs much anticipated BBQ didn't happen today. There's always tomorrow! ;)
