This is for @CatToyOriginal #sheep

A long time ago (May, 2005) I started a blog. As is the way of cyberspace folk found it and commented and we started chatting and commenting on each other's posts and I was taken into the community. One of the first and most generous of commenters also kept a very interesting and entertaining blog and we often exchanged comments.

The world turned.

And then we met again on Twitter and LinkedIn; she gives my LinkedIn profile far more credibility than I'm due. Now I should make it very clear that we've never actually met and we probably never will - she lives in Canada and for those who are a bit stuck with geography that's like America but with more couth and our Queen. Carrie lives in a place where they have snow and polar bears but she doesn't let this get in her way. She co-founded and was President of the Mastocytosis Society of Canada and if that doesn't make her the most important person in Canada, even more than Obama, I don't know what will.

She isn't feeling too good just now so I'm blipping this for her - she likes sheep. In fact she thinks that I live in some kind of fantasy land but I guess that green grass and blue skies and fluffy white quadrupeds that are unlikely to rip off your arm with a single swipe of a paw probably is idyllic in comparison. I took this at the top of the farmyard because that's where the sheep are hiding today. Had a chat with John too so that was a bonus. I hope you feel better soon Mousely x

In other news - someone destroyed my off-side wing mirror during the night. I guess they've been giving it large along the lane and clipped it. I also guess that their's isn't in a good way either; far more debris than just mine was strewn along the road. A new one would probably cost more than the car is worth but I've gone with the second cheapest bid from a scrapyard (the cheapest seller didn't have any positive reviews) and I'll try to fit it myself (what could possibly go wrong?). I used a site that I've used before and within an hour I had more than 20 offers ranging from £40 to £84 - that's "richness and reach" for those familiar with T171 and the module reader "Bored Blown to Bits". No use crying over spilt milk - I'll get more milk.

Friday started a while ago. My evening will feature wine and jollity; I hope you find some too. Keep on being awesome amigos!
