River trip

Yes I have internet! Hooray! Very patchy though and reception have been playing with connections so fingers crossed.

Now in Battambang.

The day started too early for me, rubbish nights sleep, probably because I knew we were moving on. Packed breakfasted and loaded onto out couch by 7:30 to pick up our bikes for the short ride to the speed launch / fast narrow boat thing that would take us on out 6 hour! Journey to Battambang.

600 + photos later we disembark for a short ride to the bamboo railway. Far too much to say about sights seen today and far too many photos to choose from.

Today's blip shows two of the many hundreds of buildings we passed along our journey. Most on stilts some 6 metres tall to keep them out of reach of the flood water. During this time of year the locals rely on fishing for the living until the water slowly subsides revealing the hidden rice fields below so they can resume farming.

We move on again tomorrow, just not sure where too.

It is sooooooooooo darn hot and this is 10:16 at night, phew I'm done in lol

Right fingers crossed I'm pressing the done button.
