The Ties That Bind Us

Bit pushed for a blip today so went for a nostalgia shot. For thirty eight years I wore a tie every working day- not this one I hasten to add but a wide variety though never the same tie two days running.

This is my oldest tie which I bought not long after I started university. In those days some students actually wore ties to work although I had more or less got out the habit by third year.

It's now nearly two years since I last wore a tie on a daily basis and just occasionally I miss the ritual.
