Just playing

I have the loan of what might become my new camera for the week, it's very exciting! There are lots of features, a touch screen (which is taking a bit of getting used to!) and lots of zoomy bits for focusing. I haven't had nearly enough chance today to play around with it. Tonight in the pitch black of 7pm we went for a walk around the houses to see what I could find to photograph, I took lots of pictures but eventually settled on this one of the Dominion cinema.

I got a bit distracted on the way home, we went into the supermarket to get some bananas and came out with more broccoli than two people could reasonably eat in a fortnight all for the reduced price of 32p. All broccoli recipes gratefully received. Andy is on his 3rd batch of baking Parkin this week, I tried some cooking photos but the chef was very busy, Delia has a lot to answer for!

Tomorrow night we're going to a gig at Summerhall and I'm hoping to get more chance to experiment with my potentially new camera there.
