Down/Up/Peanut

On the down side; the boots I had chosen on their potential to withstand rain turned out to be somewhat lacking. That is, they are about as waterproof as my socks. Their ability to dry after 10 minutes of a downpour is also a bit disappointing.

On the up side; I am quite certain that many people that saw me swimming to work this morning and swimming back with the still-wet-boots in the afternoon were extra appreciative of their warm, dry cars.

I do what I can, world, I do what I can.
