Meet Prunella
Today was a work holiday (for Mr. DH), but we used the day to get work done around the house. I caught up on some ironing, Mr. DH did some yard work. We still took some time to enjoy the perfect weather we've been enjoying for the past week, and that meant walking down to the pond to see what we could find.
I had seen a beaver from the window while I was ironing, a great blue heron fished out there for much of the afternoon, and we saw plenty of frogs. This was one of the few that was too slow to escape even our awkward attempts. She was dubbed "Prunella the Pond Frog," bragged about for 30 minutes, and then released back into the shallows from whence she came.
No idea if this is a green frog or a bull frog (or some other kind of frog), but I'm pretty certain it's a female.
