Passing through Sandown around high tide time on a dull windy miserable day I walked along the esplanade dodging the sea spray where a war memorial was getting a pounding from the waves. I managed to get a few snaps as a fleeting burst of sunshine spotlit the bay before diving back into the car out of the flying sand and sea spray.

A s there was little colour in the day I converted the shots to mono. in Silver Efex Pro
