Holy Bustling Bellingham Ballot Boxes!

While returning some long-overdue library books this afternoon, I noticed a long, long, long line of cars. A traffic jam in downtown Bellingham, I wondered? The mystery was quickly solved when I walked to the end of the line and arrived at the official Bellingham ballot drop box. It was good to see the turnout, even in the cold and drizzle.

I'm hearing that, at this point, it looks like the hotly contentious Measure 522 is, unfortunately, not going to pass.
