The day before

I am sitting at my dinner table, composing a blip post while gazing about this room I know so well with the realization it will, in a matter of less than 36 hours, be home to a new family.

Right now, I feel tired in ways I've never felt tired before, so will keep this short. Suffice it to say, I am tremendously excited and nervous to have this crucial page finally in my hand, ready to be turned. The house is mostly packed, the cats are loving all the cardboard boxes, utilities are set up, and I will sign on the dotted line tomorrow afternoon. A big, big thank you to all who have been helping with this project - you know who you are.

And now -- on to the next great adventure!
