Porty People and Places

We flew back into Edinburgh at lunchtime today in good time for the traditional bonfire night fun on the beach at Portobello. The bonfires lit up the beach at regualr intervals. Fireworks were launched into the sea. Sparklers were brandished by children transfixed by the fire spluttering in their hands while their proud parents filmed them on their iPhones. My blip shows a reveller with two fireballs creating a heartshape on the beach while the finale of the Fisherrow Display provides a colourful backdrop across the bay.
