Blackbird CW 90342

Today we had a fall of Blackbirds - suddenly they appeared in places they weren't in before. We ended up ringing twenty of them. That Blackbird in your garden in Summer is quite probably not the same bird as the one there in Winter.
Digital photography continues to amaze me - the sharpness you can get and the detail of this eye are to my mind remarkable. Getting in close really does give you a different perspective on things.
