A Passing Shower
Headed back to the beach this afternoon for a walk and to be in the best position in the village for any sunset that might develop. As we live tight against the east facing hills the only hope of getting a sunset at any time of the year is from The Point or the far end on the beach.
As I pulled onto the parking area for the beach, a dark cloud from the north west was threatening rain. I sat in the car and watched as it passed over dropping only a little rain on the car but a lot over the bay. Once it had gone off, I headed onto the beach and my plan was to walk the full length of it and back in time for the sunset. However, half way along the beach I met a couple of friends and we blethered for a while commenting on how beautiful the shower clouds were with the sun on them. Unexpected beauty and time for a quick blip.
I continued to the end of the beach and got about half way along when the colours started to develop in the clouds behind me. I wasn't going to get to my intended sunset location so I sought out an area to reflect the colours and got some blips. As I was doing so another couple came towards me and I had the opportunity of placing them in some some more blips. I liked this one where the sky almost appears as if Its on fire.
Back home Mrs B decided she preferred this one and I had to agree as it was a little bit different for a sunset blip!
