Bough
(Check 28th October for the second day of our holiday)
Back into routine today - Mother-in-Law had another appointment at the Eye Infirmary. Good and bad news: Her left eye has stabilised, but the right still shows some movement in the retina. They are trying another injection to see if there is any improvement. If there is even a slight improvement, then they will continue with the injections, but if there is no improvement, it will just be monitored.
That all took up most of the morning and into the early afternoon. At three thirty, I was giving my daughter a lift to work, so that left me a couple of hours to take some photographs.
I went up to Burrator and walked along the Meavy a bit. There was a nuthatch about, but too high for a good picture. I got nearer the river to see if there were any good shots of the water, but it was a bit high after the recent rains, so I looked for details. This shot of moss and ferns growing on a branch with the river in the background was one I liked the best.
I'm hoping to get a bit more time tomorrow - although the weather doesn't sound too promising.
