The Long & Winding Road
Another beautiful sunny day today, most of it in the morning when I was indoors in a church hall listening to a speaker at a U3A meeting:-) However, she gave such a fantastic talk that I didn't mind at all. It was all about the jute industry in Dundee, which may sound a bit dry at first, but not in this lady's entertaining and amusing version! She also brought along some items made of jute by her company and I bought a couple of pretty bags, which may well be the subject of a rainy day blip.
It wasn't until after lunch that my husband and I were able to get out and drive up towards Glenshee in the Cairngorms, hoping to see some of the early snow on the tops. There was only a light covering on the very highest peaks, but it was lovely to see it and, judging by the weather forecast, there will be a lot more tomorrow!
This shot is of the very winding and hilly approach road to Glenshee and Braemar and, as you can see, it wasn't exactly busy today:-) However, when the snow does come, it's a very different story! Bring it on!
