Skeletal spectators
Continuing yesterday's theme of unusual museums, today's picture was taken on a visit to the Grant Museum of Zoology, another hidden gem amongst the bigger and more famous London museums. The Grant Museum specialises in zoological specimens, mainly from the 19th century, and most of these are either skeletons or preserved in jars of formaldehyde, and displayed in cases made from glass and wood, just as a museum should be in other words. The museum is a part of UCL, and only a couple of minutes walk from Euston station, so if you are ever there with some time to spare before your train gets in you now know where to go...
