The Mighty Clutha

Barking News
It appears that most of you approved of The Bossess new Iphone 5s camera and it's ability to deal to strong backlighting situations.
I am sad to report that she has now taken it off to work so today's image is from The Boss's OLD 5.
The Boss does admit that for this shot there would not have been any difference but "There might have been" Sorry no points awarded for this. He drowned his sorrow at the Café this afternoon with a strawberry and custard pastry and had the nerve to text the pic of it to The Bossess at a meeting. Hopeless ...just hopeless.

Monday and walking with the “B” team which took us along the side of the Clutha River below Alexandra which is about an hour’s driving from Wanaka.

This river is controlled by a very large hydro dam upstream and there has been a lot of water in the system recently but levels have fallen and the river today was just BIG as you can see.

It was a warm day when we started and as The Boss left my water bottle in Suzz we had to negotiate our way to the water’s edge which was not actually dangerous but held a high level of get wet potential. I did get a bit wet while I had a great drink and The Boss got a bit muddy.

This is me right after that. Oh and that’s the river AND on the other side of the river is the cycle / walking track that will eventually connect Wanaka to the Pacific Ocean. Granny (acyclinggranny) says we will walk that side another time but not to the Ocean just till lunchtime…OK?

Check my smile?
