Ewan's special day

Today was Ewan's baptism. Here he is, trying to attack the Christening cake at the party afterwards, with his mummy and daddy as proud as can be.

The service was lovely, and in a small out of the way church, with the most beautiful stain glass windows. The mini Pinks picnic'd and played their way through the service, as per usual, but they were there, and that is the main thing.

We went back to the grandparents house for a yummy buffet lunch. It was good to catch up with some old faces, and obviously share in Ewan's celebrations.

Back at home we have been preparing for going back to school tomorrow. I will miss my mini pinks, we've had a nice week together, BUT I do prefer getting my sewing done in normal hours, rather than after everyone is asleep hours! Not long until the Christmas holidays anyway!
