Project (almost) Complete

We are nearly there! It has taken just over a year, but the extension is now built, still standing, and the patio now 95% complete. The disruption has been worth it, especially when we think back to the last freezing winter. We were having the walls knocked down about this time. Then the corner of the house was held up with Acros waiting for steel beams to support it. It was rather worrying really ! We huddled together for warmth in the Dining Room which became our little refuge, replete with a camping gaz stove and then buckets for washing out of a tap in the bathroom. Oh what fun ! We would recommend the experience as it brings you all closer as a family (A nostalgic look back for Lounardo :) )

We have adopted the young Builders and helped finance our Architect to buy a mansion in the Posh part of Newcastle - along with his Swiss Chalet. We are doing our bit for the economy and digging the UK out of recession LOL....

Question now is - What next?
