Autumnal Walk

Autumn at Rowlands Gill

It is always lovely walking up the old railway line at Rowlands Gill. This picture is not what it seems as M and Lounardo were in fact stationary! It was posed for a laugh!

The sun shone on autumn leaves with fantastic brown, red and all kinds of shades of green colours. People were out with their dogs, bikes and horses - all enjoying the afternoon. Not very many though, surprisingly. Has Xmas shopping started?

We then walked up to the old railway station where rumour or folklore has it that the Station Master's wife was brutally murdered. Spooky ! especially just after Halloween.

A lovely afternoon walking along the line....
