Game To Forget

Got up early this morning and had lorne sausage rolls for breakfast, for those of you who don't know what lorne sausage is, it is flat sausage instead of link.

This afternoon, we went to Rosewell to watch our wee team Whitehill playing against Selkirk. Selkirk are at the bottom of the league and have not won a game this season so you can imagine our disappointment when were beaten by one goal to nil. We made 10 clear cut chances in the second half and managed to miss every one of them, poor Gavin was tearing his hair out.

We had planned to get a taxi down today to have a wee drink with my mother and father-in-law to celebrate as it's Cheryl's birthday tomorrow but Hayley needed a lift to a firework display in Haddington so I left them to their drinks and came back for them later on.

We are now at home and enjoying a chinese while watching Strictly which we recorded earlier.
