Torbay

We performed at the South West Brass Band Association Annual Contest in Torquay today and a large group of us stayed overnight hence a backblip. While there was some prior optimism that we might win we were actually placed second in our section. Never mind, I caught up with lots of friends from other bands, plus those staying over from our band all went out for beer and curry and, to finish the evening with a laugh, there was a sing-along back at the hotel when we returned. I hope no-one captured any visual/sound evidence!

Back to the blip... this is taken from the Riviera Centre end of Torquay looking across the bay towards Brixham. It was really windy but pleasant in between the heavy showers.
