Blipfoto is an Edinburgh-based online daily photo journal and social networking service allowing people to share their pictures and tell their stories one day at a time.

With over 15 million page views a month, the site has a strict rule allowing its users to post just one picture a day to their journal. To date, 'Blippers' in 160 countries worldwide have posted over 1.8 million photos with around 9 million shared comments. That's the equivalent of 2,740 years in pictures, with each picture uploaded representing a day in someone's life.
