Portrait of a grandparent(s)

It's been a funny ol week.

Work has been very quiet, the office half staffed and those of us that have been there have coughed and spluttered our way to the weekend.

My parents have also been staying in nearby Grange over Sands for the week, so we've caught up with them a couple of times and they've had a chance to spend some quality time with the children.

They popped round this morning before the 300 mile drive back home and it occurred to me that I hadn't taken a photo of them with m'boy for a while.

Having initially flooded several social networks with photos of the children, we decided to take them down and only post sporadically, so this is rare one of m'boy and his very proud grandparents.

It was a nice way to start the weekend and put the weird week behind us.
