Cake

It's a right miserable day, heavy rain, dark, and cold. Had to go to Kingsgate in the afternoon to buy a gift, and got soaked just going from the car to the shop.

Church coffee morning, this time it was for the Girl Guides; they are going to Auchengillan Scout Centre for a weekend , and the coffee morning is to raise some funds to help with the cost. The guides did really well as waitresses and selling tombola tickets, and the mums supplied a terrific assortment of cakes for sale. This malteser cake looked scrummy, although I didn't get a taste.

As usual M and I were making rolls and sausage, they were selling so well we had to send out for more rolls and get more sausages from M's freezer.
