Brrrr.....
.......it was noticeably colder this morning, although dry and a bit of sunshine.
Visited a friend this morning who has moved to a new house. She lived in a flat, but was concerned about the amount of flats being privately let, and although she had not had any trouble, she found that the communal areas were not being looked after as she liked. She decided she needed a house, but as she is on her own, she wanted a small house. It took some time, but she succeeded in buying the warden's house in a sheltered housing complex. The houses are not normally sold, but the warden's house is different, and comes under different rules, it seems. Anyhow, was very impressed with her new house, finished to a beautifully high standard, with very little needing to be done. And she now has a little garden, which she is looking forward to planting out.
After visiting, headed to the town centre to return some things that didn't fit the HG, then home to lunch.
In the afternoon went on my hour's walk around the neighbourhood, meeting up with some friends at Hunter House for coffee before coming home. While walking I enjoyed the autumn colours, which we won't have for much longer, and particularly liked the shot of these big trees. I was surprised to notice which I got home that the shot includes the house we lived in when we first came to EK, I had not realised I had captured it also.
A very pleasant day, all talk and no work done!!!!
