To make Soup

Most of these beauties have now become a delicious soup. It could not be easier to make with the addition of several home grown onions and quite a bit of garlic.

Its probably an old wives tale but I believe that if the toms are kept on a metal plate then that helps them to ripen. Also the sharp eyed will have noticed a few green ones in the middle of the pile for similar reasons.

I won't say that the flow of tomatoes is coming to an end yet but they are beginning to slow down. It is always a triumph for me to be able to have some at Christmas.
