Squall
11.6C mostly bright with one or two squally showers. Light breeze.
Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after lunch. After a bright morning there were some dark clouds coming over. We walked up by the church and down the field with the bridle path. Just as we reached the bottom of the field there was a rather squally shower. We managed to take shelter by a wall and some trees.
Once the squall had passed we carried on along the cycle path and went down to the beach. It was very busy at the Fishermen's huts. Quite a few people around. One of the old tractors was belching smoke. Looked like the building of the bonfire on the beach was under way. Men were carrying pallets down to the sand and the tractor was about to bring some old furniture. Will be quite a blaze.
We walked along to the car park at Westhaven and I took a few shots of the shower cloud heading East and out to sea.
