Halloween Apples!

Halloween is an exciting day for the kids, costumes and candy! Our grandkids had Jake and the Neverland Pirates costumes. Our grandson wanted to be Jake, and our grand daughter, Izzy (or, Princess Sofia -she had a bit of trouble deciding between the two costumes.)

In the Disney Neverland series, Jake is the protagonist and has a wooden sword. He is Captain Hook's main pirate rival. Izzy is the only girl pirate and acts as second-in-command to Jake. She has a small sack of pixie dust used only for emergencies. Her catchphrase is "Yay hey, no way!" Yes, the grand kids are teaching me about their favorite stories! And, their loot for the day was candy, and quite a find that was...

(By the way, in real life, Izzy is not second in command to her younger brother!) Here is a milder version of Jake - all tuckered out from playing pirates and enjoying the antics of Toopy and Binoo.
