When things don't go as planned- woops

Plan: spend the day in the Vatican
What happend: We stood up very early to get there and beat the lines, but got there and there were already huuuggggeeee unbelievable lines. Ok so then we just won't go into the Basilika St. Peter, we can still go into the musei vaticani, right? nope, us 3 teenage girls had on shorts because its august in italy, but shorts are not exeptable in the holy buildings inside the vatican... woops. so after spending some time in the Piazza San Pietro admiring the construction site that got in the way of most pictures we decided to head back to our mini residents grab our bikinis and head to the beach. It was a very looong bus ride and we were very confused about which stop we needed to get off at or where we really even were because the busses dont tell you the stops... but we made it there and had a nice time and took the last bus back feeling very relaxed after the past few days of being rushy tourists(:
