The Flying Penguin

At a trip out to SAMREC we came across this particular juvenile African Penguin (Spheniscus demersus), also known as the Black-footed Penguin, who has not been around adults long enough to be told that Penguins are flightless.
I was fortunate enough to catch this fellow coming in for a landing.
It just shows that we really shouldn't believe everything adults tell us.
